A Breath of Aloha

Native Hawaiian Cultural Festival and "Fun-raiser" for Kauila Clark

Join us for a beautiful day in Wai'anae to reconnect with old friends and new! In the heart of Wai'anae, let's share the energy and breath of music, movement, food, and each other.
Saturday, December 1, 2012
2:00 - 6:00 pm
Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center

Featuring Native Hawaiian Healing Arts and Cultural Practices
& time to connect with each other
A couple of months ago, Kauila decided to challenge himself with a heart attack while he was up in Alaska for an indigenous people's conference.
He chose surgery and life.  Family and friends went there to support.
Kauila returned to Hawaii nei in September where he is courageously recovering well, ever joking and lightening up life for those around him. Breathing gets easier every day. How much do you think about your breathing?
Now the medical bills are coming in. Kauila and his family need our help. For all the inspiration, helping hands, wisdom, love and aloha he has given to our community over the years -- now is our opportunity to return the love in our hearts to Kauila.

Please join us for a day in Wai'anae!

Your ticket purchase is not only your donation of love and appreciation to Kauila, it offers an afternoon of Musical inspiration and entertainment; Demonstrations and explorations of pa'i'ai, ho'oponopono, lomi massage, storytelling, hula and tattoo art; Walks through the healing gardens and walking paths lined with Native Hawaiian artwork; Fresh, local delicious food by the Ka'aha'aina Cafe at WCCHC available for purchase; Wamos cookies, silent auction and fantasy face painting!
