Description
Mountain Charlie Challenge Bike Ride is an annual ride to help raise funds for the four public schools in Scotts Valley.
- Registration fee includes a t-shirt and a BBQ lunch.
- All rides begin and end at Skypark in Scotts Valley.
- Check-in time starts at 6:30 AM
- Each ride will begin at a staggered start time.
- SAG and rest stop support available until 4:00 PM
- Bike helmets MUST be worn.
100 Mile and 100K rides venture into the unique outlands of Santa Cruz County. Riders ascend Mountain Charlie Road and travel the summit of the Santa Cruz coastal range encountering the unparalleled vistas and native beauty of this distinctly scenic region.
50K ride features a more modest ascent and a scenic journey through the hills and valleys of Santa Cruz County.
10 Mile ride is geared towards riders who won't necessarily be training for the event. The loop features a climb up Bean Creek Road. Vans will be available for those who opt not to climb Bean Creek Road.
1 Mile ride is a loop around Skypark for children who are in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
