Denver Post, University of Denver Host Breakfast Insights

Rocky Mountains’ Leading Institutions Co-Host Discussions on Election Issues

The University of Denver’s Faculty Senate and The Denver Post are proud to present a set of public breakfast discussions that will feature some of the nation’s, and Colorado’s, leading voices on topics that will dominate our Nov. 6 election. Both panel events, held in The Post’s downtown auditorium, will focus on insightful and reasoned discourse that will explore serious issues and delve beyond political rhetoric.

The September 13th event is called “How the West Will Be Won: Issues That Will Swing a Swing State.” The 90-minute dialogue will feature a panel of experts on some of Colorado’s most pressing issues: immigration, fiscal accountability in government, land and water use, energy extraction and issues facing the Western Slope.  It is free and open to the public and can be viewed online at the DenverPost.com.
