September 11th has been marked as "Patriot Day", a national day of service where people from across the United States are encouraged to volunteer and give back to their communities.
This year, CAIR-St. Louis is working with the Muslim community, interfaith groups and Veterans for Peace to organize a neighborhood clean-up project in the Yeatman Market neighborhood. Volunteers are invited to help beautify the neighborhood. Volunteer work will range from cutting lawns, planting peace poles, and much more.

Schedule For The Day:
4:00-4:30pm: Volunteers arrive at Yeatman Market
4:30-4:45pm: Press Conference About our Day of Service
4:45-7:00pm: Volunteers will be placed in their individual groups and sent into the community to start the clean up projects
7:00pm: Gather back at Yeatman Market for Potluck/Debriefing
7:30pm: Maghrib (Sunset prayers for the Muslims)
End of program after sunset prayers.
