90-Second Newbery Film Festival - MANHATTAN SCREENING
- Film, Media & Entertainment
- New York Public Library, New York NY
Welcome to the third annual 90-Second Newbery Film Festival—a yearly video contest in which kid filmmakers create movies that tell the entire story of a Newbery award-winning book in 90 seconds or less. We screen annually in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and Tacoma!
Make your FREE reservation to the NEW YORK CITY screening of this year's 90-Second Newbery! The screening is hosted by film festival founder and children's author James Kennedy, with special co-host, New York's own Libba Bray (Printz Medal winner, author of Going Bovine and many other fantastic books). The creativity in the movies we've received this year has been astonishing—by turns hilarious, ingenious, and inspiring!
This year, the 90-Second Newbery will screen on Saturday, March 22 from 3-5 pm at the New York Public Library main branch in the Bartos Forum.
Tickets are free! However, this event has been crowded in the past, so please reserve your seat to ensure admittance.
