A Runner's Circle Running School: Intro to Running
This Intro to Running Course is great for the beginner, new, or novice runner. This program will demystify the world of running including nutrition, what to wear, running lingo, and the psychology of running. You will use intervals to safely and gradually increase your speed and distance over the course of 8 weeks.
This program is perfect for you if you:

What you'll need:
- Mandatory watch with intervals (you can buy one at ARC with your discount!)
- Yoga or fitness mat or large towel to sit on
- A light pre or post run snack is recommended

*Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old. Have 1-2 months of steady walking experience. You do not need to have any running experience but must be able to start an aerobic walking/running program. If you have any concerns, please consult your health care provider.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no ID requirements but you must be at least 14 years of age. If student is under 18 years, they must be accompanied by an adult.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is plenty of street parking around the park.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring an interval watch, water bottle, yoga mat (a fitness mat or large towl will also work), and a good attitude. Though we love pets, please leave them at home.
Can I make up a class if I miss one?
If you miss a class, you can make it up by joining the same class at the Pasadena Rosebowl Location.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Unfortunately, your ticket is non-transferrable or refundable.
Can I update my registration information?
Sure. Just log into your account to do so.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you don't.
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, no refunds are available.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, its ok if they don't match. You are allowed and encouraged to gift this 8 Week training to your friends and family.

She is an active member of the local health and fitness community where she leads A Runner's Circle's Thursday Night Fun Runs, teaches Yoga 4 Runners and Mat Pilates, and works privately with clients to transform their training using running, yoga, and mat pilates.
