7th Annual BCO Haunted Hike: The Year of the Walking Dead (and deadly After-Party)
October 31 - 6:30 - 10:00
Meet @ Beck's Prime (hike in the woods)
1001 East Memorial Loop (at the Golf Center)
Houston, TX 77007
This year, become one of the Walking Dead with us as we hike (or stumble) our way through Memorial Park with our closest undead pals! We will nourish ourselves afterwards with food and drink from Beck's Prime - right in the middle of the park at the Walking Dead After-Party.
And it’ll BE a party - if you play an instrument, bring it because we'll be having a BCO monster jam session.
Tap into your inner creep and go all out with your undead duds, or come as a traditional ghoul (or, hey, wear your workout clothes – that could be scary enough!) Dress to impress because the creepiest wins dinner and, of course, will be crowned king or queen of BCO undead.
For deadly inspiration check out http://www.amctv.com/shows/the-walking-dead/dead-yourself. Leave the bars to the kids and join us in the woods for some quality (if not CREEPY) exercising and socializing at Memorial Park.
Our pack of Walking Dead meets at 6:30pm and departs at 7:00 sharp from Beck's Prime Memorial Park, 1001 East Memorial Loop 77007 (click for map or check the BCO site). (For you chickens out there - just come to the After-Party starting at 8:00 pm at Beck's). Don’t get left in the dark and don’t forget to wear walking shoes (it is a hike no matter how dead you are), a flashlight, bug spray, and a little money for nourishment.
Open to members, guests and the public (we love fresh meat) – bring a friend or come alone...you'll meet plenty of friends at our events! (please no dogs at this hike)

Bayou City Outdoors
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Typically most BCO events are for adults. But, we do love kids. If you believe your child is capable of keeping up with the group, no problem. AND if this is a bike ride they MUST wear a helmet. Questions? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We add parking details to the Event descriptions.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
If the temperature is above 80 or it very clearly says "No Dogs" then please don't bring your dog. We LOVE dogs and only make this rule if we feel there could be a safety concern (for the dogs of course:).
BIKE: If it is a bike ride: Bring a helmet or borrow one from us. Helmets are the single most important piece of gear you can have on a bike ride. Anyway, any time you are wearing a helmet you must be having fun!
Bring water. Frequently our events are in the woods or out of the way. Water is important.
HIKE: If it is a hiking event wear comfortable shoes. Athletic shoes, hiking boots, running shoes, just be sure your feet will be happy.
SOCIAL: If it is a social event? Wear whatever YOU feel comfortable in. We are an eclectic mix of people with all types of interests and jobs. People will come straight from work in a suit or jeans, straight from running or working out, and some of us even come cleaned up straight from the shower! (and everything in between)
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Can I update my registration information?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Printed ticket or download the EventBright app and bring it on your phone.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds up until 48 hours before. Or, better yet, get some goodwill by sharing your ticket with a friend. They will love you even more after all the fun they had at the BCO event!
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes - see love & friendship above!
