Together Again For The Very First Time - 60's Legends of The Sunset Strip

From their beginnings in 1966 as the featured house band at The Hullabaloo Club on The Sunset Strip, The Yellow Payges evolved to become major concert attractions throughout the United States. Along with being named "Best/Most Promising New Artist" by two different associations, The Yellow Payges toured or performed with some of the biggest rock acts of the era. Numerous TV appearances, countless teen magazine articles, opened for Eric Burdon and The Animals at the Hollywood Bowl and a role in a major ad campaign that spread their names and faces throughout the '60s rock and roll world, but it's their ten great singles and legendary album that have paved the way for the band's resurgent popularity. The group's diversity, creativeness and rock and roll chops were all in excellent form on their classic recordings, and one listen to the group in 2013 clearly validates what all the fuss was about.

'Dirty Water', 'Riot On Sunset Strip', 'Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White.' As vocalist for garage punk legends The Standells, Dick Dodd's combination of spoken snarl and performance swagger has influenced generations, and now the voice of The Standells and one of the original Mouseketeers is back and returns to the stage at House of Blues with his own band, Dick Dodd and The Dodd Squad.
