5th Unofficial Columbia Area Chivers Meetup
Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (EDT)
This is going to be our 5th Unofficial Columbia Area Chivers Meetup and we wanted to make sure to do it right so we have partnered with World of Beer in The Vista to make this one to remember.
You must be 21 Years of age or older to attend this one, sorry no exceptions.
The charity for this event is going to CVMA, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of South Carolina.
A little about CVMA:
We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. Our mission now is to support and defend those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to help veteran care facilities provide a warm meal, clothing, shelter, and guidance, or simply to say "Thank You." and "Welcome Home."
Our membership is comprised of Full Members ( those with verified combat service ) and Supporter Members ( those who have non-combat military service, and have a sincere dedication to helping veterans ). We have members from nearly all 50 states and living abroad. Many members continue to serve in our Armed Forces, with several serving in combat areas now.
We sponsor and/or participate in many motorcycle-related charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran care facilities and veteran charities.
The Columbia Area Chivers Goal is to raise as much money as we can for CVMA while having a great time with our fellow Chivers & Chivettes.
The ticket information is below, and a small portion of the entry will be given to WOB to cover cost associated with hosting the event with the remainder going to CVMA.
The $20 Entry will include a lot of cool stuff, but the finer details are still being worked out. Trust us, you won't be dissapointed. This entry as well as the blog on our website (www.chiveonsc.org) will have the information updated as we work out all of the details.
There are plans for a raffle with some very cool items as well as a 50/50 Raffle as well. We plan on letting the raffle go on until later into the night to give you Chivers / Chivettes that couldn't get a ticket to the event a chance to get in on some great prizes and to make sure that the charity benefits the most.
Don't worry if you dont get a ticket to this meetup, as we have also partnered with The Wild Hare nextdoor to be our official after party spot and they will be donating 10% of Every Chiver/Chivettes tab to our Charity.
SC KCCO Shirts are available in our store for Pre-Order with pickup at the Meetup or Shipping available after the meetup.
Feel free to contact us via our contact page on our website if you have any items you would like to donate to the raffle or if you have any questions.
If you would just like to donate money to the event charity, our paypal ID is email@example.com
