Please join Network For Progress, a social and media-savvy community for those inspired by the "Yes We Can" Movement, and several great partners for our 5th Annual State of the Union PROGRESS PARTY where Progressives, Democrats and “Hope Mongers” can watch and celebrate the President’s Address to Congress at 9pm while mingling for friends, careers and PROGRESS starting at 6:30! The event will also feature speakers as well as raffle prizes and appetizers for early birds.

The event will also feature a few special guests with raffle prizes from Local 16, Taan Noodles (www.taanramen.com), Absolute Noodle (www.absolutenoodle.com), a Triple Date at Irish Whiskey from Dating In Groups (www.datingingroups.com) and a two-person season of NAKID Social Sports (http://dc.playnakid.com) PLUS appetizers for early birds.

Uber is offering $20 to new riders arriving or departing the event with the promo code: SOTUPARTY2014

https://www.uber.com/go/SOTUPARTY2014

We will be accepting optional 50/50 contributions from registered attendees of $1 or more to benefit President Obama's Organizing For Action advocacy group that is currently working on the Affordable Care Act, Immigration, Climate Change, Gun Safety and additional causes on the administration's agenda.

This year's program theme is to #GetCovered at www.healthcare.gov before March 31st's application deadline. ACA marketplace numbers are surging but more young people need to sign up!  Get a preview of what it might cost and whether you can get subsidies: http://www.barackobama.com/health-care-cost-calculator

Network For Progress

*ABOUT NETWORK FOR PROGRESS

As of February 10, 2011, the fourth anniversary of the Obama For America campaign, Network For Progress will serve as an interactive and creative online/offline political, civic, professional and personally-enriching Community, Advocate & Resource for the lessons of the "Yes We Can" Movement of Hope and Change to expand on the work of Organizing For America with the Mainstream Majority of Americans (including Democrats, Progressives, Independents, Republicans and those in between comprising young people and many other under-served constituencies) that voted for President Obama in 2008.

Network For Progress will promote the use of 21st Century “bottom up” Communication, Outreach & Leadership/Development grassroots-organizing techniques for an honest dialogue to create the necessary Personal Relationships & Viral Buzz to build a Movement that is continually being revolutionized by the growth of Google, Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other networking tools but was under-utilized after Inauguration Day when the social, social media & Media vacuum of public discourse was filled by Tea Party/Fox News’ coordinated activism and only recently has been valiantly promoted by Jon Stewart’s quest for “Sanity.”

Network For Progress will provide a platform for supporters to become OUR own “Obama” who is empowered to bring PROGRESS to our professional and personal lives as well as our town, our state, our nation and our world.

“Network For Hope.  Network For Change.  Network For PROGRESS.”
