5th Annual Red Dress Gala
Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
It’s that most wonderful time of year again! As a group of young women striving to help others, Alpha Phi has adopted women’s heart health as an important concern for its philanthropic purpose! For this reason, the women of the Iota Eta Chapter at DePaul University have been working hard to put forth our best efforts and host a fun filled night of dinner, dancing, and a silent auction! The money raised through our 5th Annual Red Dress Gala will be directly donated to the Alpha Phi Foundation and specifically the 2013 Heart to Heart Grant
Every year Alpha Phi chapters across the nation hold Red Dress Galas. RDG is our largest and most exciting philanthropic event of the year. It is a wonderful night where our chapter members come together with, our beloved families, advisors, and alumni members. We look forward each year to having our girls and parents come together to support a great cause; the Alpha Phi Foundation. Proceeds made at RDG are donated to the foundation and then put towards reasearch and education efforts for Women’s Heart Health.
This year Alpah Phi Iota Eta will be hosting Red Dress Gala at The Palmer House Hilton Hotel on February 16th, 2013. A formal cocktail hour will begin at 6 o'clock followed by a seated dinner, to be served at 7 o'clock, and dancing. Entertainment includes a performance from DePaul's acapella group, Interchorus, as well as a fashion show to be hosted by Langford Market. The night includes a silent auction and raffle benefitting The Alpha Phi Foundation.
When & Where
Hosted by The Women of Alpha Phi Iota Eta benefiting the Alpha Phi Foundation
The Alpha Phi Foundation was founded in 1956 by a group of women who believed in the philanthropic spirit of love and charity through an awareness of cardiac health. Alpha Phi is one of the the only fraternal organiztations with its own foundation and each year Alpha Phi women nation-wide hold Red Dress Galas to fundraise for the foundation.
The Alpha Phi Iota Eta chapter was established in 2002 at DePaul University becoming Alpha Phi's 143rd active collegiate chapter. Today, Iota Eta now has over 90 women who stirve to better themselves and their community.
