JOIN US FOR A NIGHT OF CULINARY EXTRAVAGANCE!
Project by Project SF Chapter is proud to present its 5th annual fundraising food and wine gala, Plate by Plate. The event will feature tastes from over 30 acclaimed restaurants including notables such as LUCE, Farallon, and Akikos, as well as a large selection of beverage purveyors that include Peju Province Winery, Martell, Asahi Breweries, Fever Tree, and many more. Guests will enjoy live jazz music, bid on an extensive list of silent auction items, and mingle with distinguished figures in the community. Notables include Binary Capital co-founder Jonathan Teo, NBC Bay Area news reporter Stephanie Chuang, Greylock partner Jerry Chen, Rotten Tomatoes co-founder Patrick Lee, and others. Not to mention Wong Fu Productions’ very own Wesley Chan, who is making a special trip up from Los Angeles to join our festivities.
Each year, Project by Project selects a non-profit partner based on a theme or issue that addresses current needs in the Asian American community. This year, Project by Project SF has partnered with Asian Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS). Founded over 40 years ago, ACMHS is the first organization to provide mental health services to the growing low income Asian and Pacific Islander (API) immigrant community in Alameda County. ACMHS aims to provide outreach through education on wellness practices and improve access to culturally competent services. Through prevention and early intervention programs, ACMHS reaches a wide range of age groups to provide counseling, youth programs, and peer assistance networks to over 3000 persons a year in our API community.

Project by Project (PbP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in New York City in 1998 by a group of young Asian American professionals. Comprised of a team with backgrounds across finance, consulting, technology, media, entertainment and law, PbP’s founding team felt it could do more to empower the Asian American community. They established an organization with the mindset of volunteering, increasing awareness and fundraising for fellow organizations within the Asian American community.
Each year, PbP selects a different theme to champion. Local chapters select a community-based non-profit organization that is focused on issues within that theme and tailors a year-long campaign to help its fundraising, community outreach and public awareness efforts.
The locally-hosted "Plate by Plate" tasting benefit is PbP's marquee event and draws hundreds of attendees and dozens of renowned vendors each year. Keep an eye out for when tickets go on sale in July!
