Keynote Speaker Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the Honorable Governor Peter Shumlin of Vermont will be the keynote speaker at our 5th Annual Green Tie Gala!

Governor Shumlin has been an active force supporting clean energy in New England. Under his leadership, a draft Comprehensive Energy Plan for Vermont was released, setting a target goal for 90% of the state's energy to come from renewables by 2050.  Among other initiatives, the Governor, Senator Bernie Sanders, and the Vermont Department of Public Service hosted a Clean Energy Investment Summit in April of this year, engaging on federal, regional and state policies to promote clean energy and new models for financing clean energy projects in Vermont.
