For the fifth year in a row, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) in partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio will host the CORE4 STEM Expo UTSA Family Day to inspire our young San Antonio students to explore future careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics on Saturday, November 15th at the University of Texas at San Antonio Main Campus at 1604 in the University Center from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and Keynote Begins at 9:00 a.m. promptly.
This enlightening event will bring together more than 500 seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students from all San Antonio school districts to experience ways to enhance their educational attainment in STEM. These students will become San Antonio’s future workforce and determine our future economic success. Our unique Expo focuses on local San Antonio businesses, organizations, and Institutions of Higher-Education that students have already known locally. This presents a personal opportunity for our students to see the limitless amounts of STEM opportunities right here in San Antonio.
Topics include: Solar Energy, Robotics, U.S. Army STEM careers/technology, bioscience, nanotechnology, wildlife conservation, zoology, IT, cloud technology, food science, and much more!
