|State Senator Royce West
Royce West was first elected to the Texas Senate in November 1992. During his tenure, Senator West has been named by Texas Monthly as one of the 25 most powerful people in Texas politics, been selected for the magazine's biennial "Ten Best Legislators in Texas" list, and has twice been named as an "Honorable Mention." Senator West is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Intergovernmental Relations and is a member of Senate committees on Education, Finance, Health and Human Services and Higher Education.
|Giacinta Bradley Koontz
Aviation historian and author, Giacinta Bradley Koontz, is a self-described “Aviation Anthropologist.” Ms. Koontz has made many personal appearances including the Experimental Aircraft Association's Fly-In Convention, known as EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. She has even been featured on PBS and the History Channel in early aviation documentaries. In her newest book, Pioneer Mechanics in Aviation, Giacinta presents over 20 fact-filled stories of aircraft mechanics before WWII.
