Description

2014 marks the 5th Anniversary of both the Food Chain Workers Alliance (FCWA) and the Restaurant Opportunities Center of Los Angeles (ROC-LA), a member of the Alliance. Join us in celebrating this momentous occasion and the amazing victories and advances of ROC-LA, UFCW Local 770, the Warehouse Worker Resource Center, and the UNITE HERE Food Service Division, all members of the FCWA!

At the celebration, our MC will be the awesomely funny Jenny Yang, and our keynote speaker is Saru Jayaraman, the co-founder and co-director of ROC United. You'll receive 2 drink tickets for beer and wine provided by the Gorbals restaurant, a high-road partner of ROC-LA, and food will be provided by other high-road restaurants. You'll also get to taste drinks from 3 bartenders, all graduates of ROC-LA's training program called CHOW, and vote for the best one. The winning bartender will win a $100 gift card. Kids are welcome, and kids under 12 are free.

Buy your ticket here and also support the celebration by becoming a sponsor or buying an ad in the program booklet. Click here for more details!

Thank you to our sponsors & host committee*:

The FCWA and ROC-LA are 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. All donations minus cost of food and drinks are tax-deductible. All proceeds will be shared equally between the FCWA and ROC-LA.
