5 Napkin Burger is excited to bring back their Beer and Bourbon Dinner Series to Astoria with Michter's Whiskey kicking it off on Wednesday, June 13th with Master Disiller Willie Pratt, followed by Stone Brewing Company on June 27th.
Each dinner will begin at 7pm with an informal cocktail reception where guests will mingle with the brewers and dine on passed appetizers made with the bourbon/beer! The evening will then proceed to a seated 2-course dinner and every bite of food will be expertly paired with a different beer (totaling four throughout the evening). Chef Andy D’Amico and the breweries will be working alongside one another to bring guests new flavors and new beer experiences.
To attend one dinner is $35 (including tax and gratuity) and for those that can't decide between bourbon and beer, the cost to attend both dinners is $60 per person, also all inclusive.
Michter's menu includes: Tuna Tataki Wontons, Wasabi Deviled Eggs with Sriracha, Hell's Kitchen 'Boneless Wings', Pimento Cheese Poppers, Onion & Mushroom Gratin, Choice of Bourbon Chili Burger or Veggie Burger, and 'Affogato', a bourbon-brown sugar syrup over ice cream and Richie's poundcake.
Stone Brewing Co. includes: Beer Belly & Eggs, Grilled Chipotle Shrimp, Tempura Fried Vegetables, Cheddar Tots with Beer Mustard, Porter, Ale & Gruyere Soup, choice of Pimento Cheese Burger or Veggie Burger, and Smoked Porter Creme Brulee.
