When & Where
Buckeye Education Foundation
The Buckeye Education Foundation was formed to address inadequate public school funding, to promote academic excellence as a core community value, to make our schools a magnet for families and businesses relocating to the area, and to ultimately provide the top quality education our students need to thrive in a 21st century workforce.
Toward these goals, the Buckeye Education Foundation’s current Tech Up, Buckeye! campaign has funded, through community donations, the completion of wireless networking to reach every classroom and every student in the Buckeye Union School District, a full week of EdTech Training for 20 of our 200 teachers, and a full-time EdTech Teacher Coach position to work with teachers daily accelerating the implementation of Educational Technology throughout the district.
The Foundation, through community donations, also helps fund PE Instructor and Library Aide positions increasing every K-8 student’s time in school libraries and every Grade 1-5 student’s time with a certificated PE instructor.
Creating an environment that values and promotes student achievement cannot be the sole responsibility of educators, parents, and the schools. It requires the concerted effort of the entire community.
The Buckeye Education Foundation is grateful for the tremendous support we’ve received during our first few years from our neighbors, school parents, the many local businesses, and numerous charitable organizations. We look forward to continuing to work with all of you to make educational excellence a cornerstone of our community.
