4th Annual KULINARYA: A Filipino Culinary Showdown
Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, CA
The Fourth Annual Kulinarya Showdown, a project initiated by the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, is a celebration of Philippine cuisine, while also improving the quality of taste and presentation of Filipino dishes through a competition among chefs, foodies, and other culinary enthusiasts.
Think Top Chef, Filipino style!
Witness a head-to-head live cooking competition among six talented "chef-testants":
Pushing beyond the standardized fare of adobo and lumpia, the chefs will prepare their own take on traditional Filipino dishes, competing for a free trip to the Philippines to embark on a culinary adventure of their own!
Kulinarya will also be showcasing delicious food samples and a wine tasting pavilion! Savor wines made by Filipino winemakers or try lambanog (coconut wine)!
Besides discovering your new favorite dish, stroll around the Filipino Bazaar, where you can shop—just in time for the holiday season!
Come celebrate and enjoy Filipino cuisine and culture with us on November 23rd, and taste the reason why you should "Go Filipino!" the next time you're dining out!
