Hello 4-Hers and Parents!

This camp will include lectures about Beef Cattle Production, and the life stages of beef cattle, tours to Hillandale Feed Mill, UF Animal Science, the UF Meats Lab, and Ward’s Grocery Store. Also, this camp will introduce 4-Hers to the beef project and expand on their knowledge of the animal industry in Florida.

**Campers will be required to wear closed toe shoes and long pants to this camp.
This camp will be leaving from the Duval County Extension Office (1010 N McDuff Ave) on August 8 at 7:00AM and returning at 5:15PM, and then also meeting on August 9 at 7:00AM and returning at 2:15PM.
The camp cost will be $15. Also, attendees will be required to buy their lunch at the UF Reitz Union on Thursday at Camp during our tours (the options will be HomeZone comfort food, Burger King, Papa Johns, Panda Express, and Subway.) Then on Friday, they will learn to cook themselves a delicious beef steak and be able to enjoy it for lunch.
