Our Rochester Winter Getaway is Nov. 11th - 13th.
Enjoy three days and two nights of 'ROUND-THE-CLOCK access to the crafting room! We will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and end at 5:00 on Sunday evening. That is a full 48 hours of potential crafting time! (Hotel check-out is at 11:00 a.m.)
Fully catered meals and beverages throughout each day are provided, including a delicious treat each evening.
The getaway will be held at the Radisson Airport Hotel, conveniently located just minutes from the NYS Thruway on Jefferson Road in Henrietta on the Rochester Institute of Technology campus. The Radisson offers a heated, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, free on-site parking, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access, business center, and Baxter’s Restaurant and Lounge.
Want to start earlier? Consider the BONUS TIME Option and begin crafting at 12:00 p.m. on Friday! (Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 p.m.)
Free tools and resources will be available for your use throughout the weekend in our Creation Station. These will include Cricut machines, Sizzix machines (Standard and Big Shot), Sizzix and Sizzlets alphabet dies, trimmers, paper piercing tool, punches, embossing folders and board, selection of stamps and stamp pads, and more!
Throughout the weekend, there will be gifts, games, raffles, and prizes! There will be a raffe and daily giveaways.
On Saturday, there will be a SHOEBOX SWAP for anyone who would like to participate. Your participation must be noted on your registration form. Once numbers are finalized, all participants will make one card and enough materials for everyone else participating to be able to assemble the card in 10-15 minutes. More details about the swap will be given to those who indicate their participation.
There will be multiple make-and-take opportunities where you can take a quick break and make a unique project.
Bring your unused craft supplies and tools along with you. All items can be traded or donated to the Golisano Children’s Hospital for the children to use when creating their own unique projects!

Patty’s Pig: Patty and Shannon will have cash and carry paper-crafting tools and supplies available for purchase each day. They also bring amazing product knowledge and ideas about the latest trends in the paper-crafting industry. Patty will also have her album imprinting machine – bring your albums to have them custom imprinted on site!
Stampin-Up!: Jen will have a selection of Stampin-Up! tools, stamps, inks, and markers available for use throughout the weekend. Browse the catalog to see additional products for purchase to help extend your weekend fun even longer!
Close To My Heart: Come see Amy and see all Close To My Heart has to offer! She will have many cash 'n carry items. Browse artwork samples to find some favorite new products!
Massage: Take a few minutes to unwind and let your mind go during a relaxing chair massage. We will be offering massages throughout the day on Saturday. The cost is $1 per minute and sign-ups will be done in 10-minute blocks. Sign-up information will be sent to all participants one month prior to the getaway.
Relaxation and Rejuvenation: Looking for even more? Consider a scalp massage, facial waxing treatment, or get your nails done! Sessions will be scheduled in five minute increments and will cost $1 per minute. Sign-up information will be sent to all participants one month prior to the getaway.
31 Gifts: Julie will be joining us from 31 Gifts. She will have some cash-and-carry products available (including large utility totes !), as well as the full catalog, complete with personalization options. Julie will be able to answer all of your questions and help you come up with solutions to your paper-crafting storage needs!
What can I expect during a 4 Crafty Hearts weekend getaway?
Plan on a weekend filled with quality “work” time, fun with friends, and time to relax and pamper yourself! We are committed to giving you a weekend you will fondly remember!
What should I bring?
Plan to bring the materials you will need to complete whatever projects you think you can reasonably complete in a weekend. We recommend dressing in layers and comfortable clothing to provide you maximum relaxation. Practical things you may want to consider include a small trash bag, closed container for beverages, a light, an extension cord/power strip, and your creativity!
Who will I sit with?
We are all about having fun, so we work hard to make sure you are sitting with your friends throughout the weekend! Please indicate the names of your preferred table-mates on your registration form.
Do I have to pack up my supplies each day?
Not at all! We offer 'round-the-clock access to the craft room, with full supervision at all times!
How much space will I have?
Everyone will have at least ½ of a 6 or 8 foot table, depending on hotel inventory and the number of participants who register.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, payment plans are available when registering for a getaway. Pay your $50 deposit to reserve your spot and indicate your interest in the payment plan when registering. You will receive notification of the monthly payment amount after registering. Payments are calculated based on the remaining amount of registration cost and divided by the number of remaining months until 45 days prior to an event. Payments are due on the 15th of every month. If you prefer to be billed through PayPal each month, there is a $1 per month fee and you will receive a bill on the first of each month.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must agree to the terms and conditions before registration will be processed. A complete registration form is required for each participant. By agreeing to the terms and registering for an event, participants release 4 Crafty Hearts, any employees, vendors, sponsors, or instructors from any and all liability, damages, claims, losses, lawsuits, costs, and expenses of any kind associated with an event.
To confirm registration and reserve your space at an event, a $50 deposit is required. Payment in full is required at least 45 days prior to an event. Final payments not received 45 days prior to an event are subject to cancellation and forfeit of deposit paid. Registrations received within 45 days of an event must be paid in full at time of registration, although overnight accommodations cannot be guaranteed. Returned checks will incur a $25 fee.
Event rates do not include any incidentals incurred by you such as phone bills, roll-away beds, refrigerators, room service, movie charges, etc., and it will be your responsibility to pay the hotel for these extra charges before check-out.
Refunds will not be given within 45 days prior to an event due to contractual obligations with the hotel and vendors. A $10 processing fee will be deducted for all refunds. Refunds will not be given to participants who do not attend and have not expressed written cancellation at least 45 days prior to an event.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to email@example.com. Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. You will be contacted within seven business days to arrange refunds if within the cancellation period.
Impact of Cancellation on Roommates: When you cancel, the cost of attendance for your roommate(s) will be automatically adjusted and they will be responsible for the increased cost. They have the option to cancel their registration or replace your registration spot. No refunds will be given until full payment is received from all participants.
Refunds will not be given for weather-related travel delays, etc. No refunds will be given in the event of a weather related cancellation. 4 Crafty Hearts will make every effort to reschedule the event and will transfer your registration accordingly.
Registrations may be transferred from one individual to another up to ten days prior to an event with a $10 processing fee. All transfer requests must be made in writing to 4CraftyHearts@gmail.com.
4 Crafty Hearts reserves the right to cancel an event and is not responsible for travel expenses or other costs incurred by registrants. If there are not enough participants for an event, the event may be cancelled and all participants will receive a full refund.
During an Event
Only registered attendees will be allowed in the crafting room(s). No children under the age of 10 may be present without permission of 4 Crafty Hearts. All personal supplies must be placed within the designated space allowed. Blocking of aisles or moving tables is strictly prohibited. No open drinks will be allowed. A spill proof container must be used at all times. The sale of products by individual participants during an event is strictly prohibited. 4 Crafty Hearts does not supply electrical cords or access to outlets for personal table lights. Attendees are welcome to bring battery operated lighting or their own extension cords/power strip.
By registering for a 4 Crafty Hearts event, you give your consent to be photographed during the event, as well as your scrapbooks and paper crafts. Such photos may be used in future publicity and/or promotional campaigns.
The Creation Station is equipped with paper crafting tools and is available to all attendees for unlimited usage during an event. By registering for an event, you agree to use reasonable care and caution when using the equipment, some of which is capable of causing personal injury if used improperly or carelessly. You agree to hold 4 Crafty Hearts, its principals, employees and agents, harmless from any and all liability resulting from equipment usage.

4 Crafty Hearts began many years ago with four friends as we first began meeting regularly to scrapbook together. Through the years, we have faithfully met each month to craft, create, and talk. Although we lead very different lives in many ways, we each share a commitment to our friendship and the pastime that brought us together.
4 Crafty Hearts was officially born when we decided to create experiences where we could share our love of crafting with others and have a fun weekend with friends at the same time. We are excited to make new friends, learn new things, and create new memories on this amazing adventure!
