Julie’s Jog is an event in honor of Julie Sorensen who lived with ovarian cancer during the final years of her life. As a way to celebrate her life and in order to raise awareness of hereditary ovarian and breast cancer an annual 1mile / 5k walk and a 5k race will be held in Kearney, NE at Yanney Park. All proceeds of the event go directly to the non-profit organization FORCE (Facing our Risk of Cancer Empowered) whose mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to raise money to help other individuals and families with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Whether you are running, jogging, walking or sponsoring someone, you are making a tremendous difference to help others reduce their risk of these diseases and ultimately save lives!
