bill crawford
Bill Crawford:

Bill Crawford is the newest player to The DVE Morning Show. A Pittsburgh native, Bill Crawford is a fresh face on the national scene and has quickly become one of the country's most promising young comedians. Bill has performed in the TBS Just For Laughs comedy festival in Chicago and was one of the featured comics in the LOL Lounge Showcase. Crawford came up through the ranks at the Pittsburgh Improv, going
from open mics to headlining and selling out shows. Since 2010, Bill has been touring clubs all over the country in Seattle, New York, Dallas, Miami, Chicago & everywhere in between. He is a requested feature act for comics like Jim Bruer, Steve Byrne, Bryan Callen
and Bert Kreischer. Bill's comedy is all about perspective and sarcasm. He mixes a blend of intelligence and the ridiculous, taking on a variety of topics and turning them inside out.

lee terbosic

Lee Terbosic:

Each year Lee Terbosic performs for hundreds of clients ranging from corporations, colleges organizations and even local and national celebrities. In the past 17 years Lee has performed at over 3,000 events and has been seen hundreds of thousands of people in that time. Below are a list of quotes from those who have hired or seen Lee work in the past.

Sidney Crosby even said, "THAT WAS AWESOME!"

Mike wysocki

Mike Wysocki:

Pittsburgh comedian Mike Wysocki has been winning audiences over all across the East Coast with his strong writing skills and sardonic look at American life.
After winning the prestigious 2001 Virginia Laugh Off, Mike left Virginia in hopes of completing his college degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Shortly thereafter, Mike won the 2003 Funniest Person in Pittsburgh. While working as a short order cook during the days and the comedy clubs at night, Mike was discovered by Jimmy Krenn, co-host of the WDVE morning show. Krenn immediately hired Mike to be a regular comic force on the highest rated morning show in the country. His quick wit and smooth delivery have earned him a loyal following among listeners. Mike is currently the most downloaded podcasts on www.dve.com.

The Pittsburgh JAZZ All-Stars!

           roger hunmphries

Eric Johnson                   Kenny Blake                Roger Humphries

Eric Johnson:
Over a 40 year career, Eric has traveled the world and performed with some of the Jazz world's great artists - from Leon Spencer Jr. and Stanley Turrentine to Hank Crawford and Ramsey Lewis - just to name a few.  His career began in Pittsburgh, in the late 60's Rhythm and Blues/Jazz Funk circuit and Johnson has been recording, touring and performing - locally and across the world - ever since.

Kenny Blake:
Another native Pittsburgher - Kenny Blake started playing the clarinet at age 10 and the saxophone at age 12. Yet, when he entered Columbia University - his first inclination was to be a pre-med student.  Fortunately for us, Kenny found his niche in music.  Blake's unique contemporary jazz style - combining traditional jazz leanings with modern rhythm and blues, elevated him both commercially and artistically in the 90's.   Kenny creates some of the most distinctive sounds in the genre and brings over 20 years as a local jazz favorite to his recordings and appearances.

Roger Humphries:

In August of 1962 began Roger's first major road job. He joined Stanley Turrentine (also from Pittsburgh) and Shirley Scott at the Hurricane in the Hill District of Pittsburgh.
In 1964 Roger went to New York to join the Horace Silver Quintet. While with Silver, he toured Europe twice and appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival, There, he was interviewed by renowned jazz writer, Leonard Feather. A summary of that interview is included in the Encyclopedia of Jazz in the Sixties.
