2015 Core Element Summer STEM Camp

Core Element will hold the third annual Strike for STEM fundraiser benefiting Core Element. This year's presenting sponsor is Schlumberger.
The event will be held at Mid-City Lanes Rock N’ Bowl located at 3000 Carrollton Ave on the evening of Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 7 to 9:30 pm.
The event will bring together professionals in education, technology and business with all interested in furthering STEM education for children of the Greater New Orleans area for a fun night of bowling competition, music, and food.
Come out and enjoy music by the Wise Guys and be entertained by the Disco Amigos. Your participation will help to support our efforts to encourage and motivate students in STEM subjects and enable them to become part of our developing STEM workforce.

Core Element - The Greater New Orleans STEM Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting quality teaching in the areas of Science, Technology, and Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) within six parishes in the Greater New Orleans area. Core Element supports the philosophy that the most effective classroom teaching is student-centered. Our program provides Summer STEM Professional Development Institutes for area teachers.
