In celebration of National Women's History Month, we invite you to join us for the 3rd Annual Black Women's Roundtable Women of Power National Summit (BWR Summit), "Investing In Our Communities, Investing in Ourselves," on March 27 - 29, 2014 in Washington, DC.  

The BWR Summit brings together a select group of 200 women of power (and their mentees) from across the country to participate in a 3-day summit.  The summit will focus on developing solutions for women and girls to live healthier, wealthier and wiser lives through public policy, civic engagement, social innovation, entrepreneurship, organizing and mentoring.

President Obama reminded the nation recently in his State of the Union Address, that "when women succeed, America succeeds!"

NCBCP Black Women's Roundtable

The Black Women's Roundtable (BWR) is the women and girls empowerment arm of The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation. The BWR promotes health and wellness, economic security & sustainability, education and global empowerment as key elements for success. BWR established its Intergenerational Policy Network in 2008, which is comprised of a diverse group of Black women civic leaders representing international, national, regional, and state-based organizations and institutions.
