About the festival: Port Townsend's Wooden Boat Festival is the most education-packed and beautifully located wooden boat event in the world. Featuring more than 300 wooden vessels, hundreds of indoor and outdoor presentations and demonstrations, a who's who of wooden boat experts and thousands of wooden boat enthusiasts, there's something to do, someone to meet or a boat to board at every turn. Expanded a little each year, the festival honors its traditions while inviting energetic debate about the latest innovation. Check out the news below or our WBF Facebook page for the most recent 2012 info. This year's Interactive printed Program is available online the week before the event and will be an insert in the August 29 issue of the Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader newspaper.
