Donny Edwards along with the Blackwood Quartet that sang with Elvis and JD Sumner was a member will be at our 34th Annual Elvis Presley Continentals Charity Festival and Car Show. This is Donny Edwards first public appearance in Florida. Our own Hawaiian "Elvis" Rich Purnell and his entourage will be performing songs from Elvis’ three movies he made in Hawaii. David Jericko, the new kid on the block, will be singing the opening songs.
Unless you plan on going out to Vegas you will not get an opportunity to see Donny perform in person. So please don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to see a performance by Donny here in Florida!!! Did you get the chance to see him on the Food Network show "Cupcake Wars"? He was there representing Elvis Presley Enterprises as Elvis Presley. He looked fantastic!!

So please attend our 34th Annual Elvis Presley Continentals Charity Festival and Car Show. It is being held at the Ramada Gateway Resort, 7470 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee Fl. 34747 which is located three (3) miles west of Old Town on the left. Our Festival begins on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 6:00 pm to Sunday, March 17, 2013 ending at 4:00 pm with our Closing Ceremony at 3:00 p.m.
Friday night is our Award Ceremony starting at 6:00 p.m. with Open Mike starting at 8:00 pm. Our talented Elvis Tribute Artists and others perform during Open Mike. Our DJ Cody Lent will be playing music and we will be having dancing with the Stars! (Pay $5.00 or more if you like to dance with any willing Tribute Artist or Guest). Tickets for Friday night are $15.00.
On Saturday and Sunday doors will open at 10:00 a.m.; price is $5.00 for one day or $8.00 for both days these can purchased online or at the door. Please purchase Elvis memorabilia sold by our many vendors. There will also be auctions and contest drawings. Elvis' music will be playing throughout the day and we will have Elvis tribute artists singing every half hour. Doors will open 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. $5.00 for one day or $8.00 for both days.
Come Meet and Greet with our Special Guests. This year they include: Marian Cocke who was Elvis' nurse and the Godmother of our club; Ron Strauss who was Elvis' Co-pilot on the Lisa Marie. Ron Strauss will also be bringing his 1977 Corvette that was used in his funeral procession and maybe you might get a chance to ride in the car!;. "Bardahl" Elvis' long time close friend and the new "godfather" of our club and Michael Dante who was Elvis' Co-star in "Kid Galahad". Michael had the "honor" of being knocked out by Elvis!! so come hear his stories about being on the set of Kid Galahad and performing opposite Elvis Presley!!
On Saturday night we have our dinner show. Opening songs will be performed by our newest ETA member David Jericko. To coincide with the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the "Aloha from Hawaii" Special our theme this year is "Elvis goes Hawaiian" starring our Hawaiian " Elvis" Universal Studios own Rich Purnell and his beautiful Hula Dancing girls and Firedancers. They have performed all over the USA including Las Vegas and Hawaii. Rich will be performing the first part of the show by singing songs from the three movies that Elvis made in Hawaii. "Blue Hawaii", "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Paradise, Hawaiian Style". Rich's performances are like none you will ever see as he incorporates Hawaiian dance moves into his performances.
Our finale will be performed by Donny Edwards, Donny who looks and sounds like Elvis is a Las Vegas entertainer, TV Personality and Multiple Elvis Contest Winner. He will be performing songs from the "Aloha from Hawaii" Concert and a special 50's Elvis set. Donny performed on the "Young and the Restless" TV soap opera; ABC's "The Next Best Thing" TV Show, and numerous TV commercials. He was the Top Performer at Las Vegas' famous Elvis-A-Rama Museum and Showroom for three (3) years until its closing. This is the first time Donny has performed in the Orlando area and we are very blessed he and his wonderful wife decided to help our club so we can raise money for our charities.
On Saturday March 16th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm we will have the Elvis Presley Annual Car Show. Registration fee is $10.00 which includes two admissions to our Saturday daytime events only,There will also be a DJ outside by the car show .You may pay the day of the car show or you may pre-register any time before. We can mail, fax, or e-mail you registration slips. (call for info to pre-register).. Trophies will be awarded for various categories. (all years accepted).
On Sunday March 17th we are having our first ever "Sing Off". Elvis Tribute Artists will be competing for a chance to be in our 35th Annual Festival being held in 2014.
Our guests will be the judges and will pick their favorite Elvis Tribute Artist to star in the 2014 festival.
Money will be donated to benefit the Russell Home for Atypical Children; St Judes Childrens Research Hospital and the Elvis Presley Trauma Center.
