WHAT IS 30 ABES?
30 Abes is a campaign to promote an awesome Food Packing Event for Haiti that is happening in Nashville,TN. Thanks to TEEMHaiti, Numana, Inc and the Bobby Bones Show, volunteers will gather at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on September 28, 2013 to break the world record for amount of meals packed in an hour for Haiti. Yes, this means a Guinness World Record representative will be on site to watch us pack 500,000 meals in an hour!
30 Abes represents 30 cents, which is the cost of one life sustaining meal. For 30 cents, Numana can provide a meal of rice soy, dried pinto beans and a vitamin/mineral substance. Also, included in the 30 cents is the packaging and international shipping of the food. Funds are currently being raised to pay for the cost of food and shipping. If you would like to make a donation, please click here.
The food will be shipped to Haiti. Specifically, to Maison Des Enfants De Dieu (an orphanage that Amy from the Bobby Bones Show is involved with through TEEMHaiti).
