The Soteria 5K is a Run/Walk fundraiser for Soteria Community Development Corporation's (CDC) Soteria House Project. The Mission of Soteria House is to provide the necessary essentials that recently released individuals will need to have a smooth transition back into society.  It is our goal to enhance self-esteem, and to help individuals reach his or her potential and to find their purpose in life.  We are commited to providing housing, transportation, job placement, and alcohol and drug abuse counseling.  We are a channel for those who would like to continue their education or pursue technical training.

Soteria House is a Chirst centered, non-denominational, Bible believing ministry.  We are dedicated to reaching men and women whose lives have been impacted by crime.  It is our goal to transform these individuals into law abiding productive citizens.

Soteria House will be a model for successful re-entry programs for men and women whose lives have been impacted by crime, by providing the necessary essentials they will need to become contributing members in society; subsequently, enabling them to become an asset to the community through personal and economic development.
