CONNECT: Reduce Risk and Promote Healing after Suicide/Crisis. This presentation is a public health, socio-ecological approach that looks at the individual, family, community and school. While a suicide is the act of an individual, it occurs in the context of and impacts that person’s relationships, community, and the larger society and culture. This Comprehensive training includes:
- Prevention and intervention
- Postvention (promoting healing and reducing risk after a suicide).
- SurvivorVoices: Sharing the Story of Suicide Loss program trains survivors of suicide loss how to safely share their story privately and publicly.
- Designated National Best Practice Program approved by the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) and the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP)
