YANY Cosmetics is hosting it's 2nd annual Pink Party. We have teamed up with Lashed to throw a charity event like no other. Come enjoy food, drinks, music, and fun in an upscale, adult environment. Ten percent of each ticket sale will go directly to the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition where their purpose is to educate, advocate and to serve as Georgia's voice to end Breast Cancer. During the event you will be able to purchase natural cosmetics, body products, and accessories or make donations that will go to support the fight against breast cancer. The first 100 advanced ticketed guests will receive a gift bag courtesy of our sponsors.

Yaminah Childress is the CEO of YANY Cosmetics LLC, which is an online cosmetic boutique that offers a full line of hand-mixed and natural cosmetics. We want to show our community that we care about important issues and take pride in supporting the fight against breast cancer. There will be music by the DJ AOne, celebrity DJ of Kandi Buruss and Lil Scrappy. The night will include dancing, food, fun, and drinks with nightly raffles and auctions. The event will be held October 24, 2013 from 8p.m – midnight at the upscale restaurant and lounge Metro Fuxon 554 Piedmont Ave, Atlanta, GA 30308.
Breast Cancer Statistics
More women in the U.S. are living with breast cancer than any other cancer, excluding skin cancer. Approximately 3 million women are living with breast cancer: 2.3 million who have been diagnosed and 1 million who do not yet know they have the disease. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women worldwide, excluding skin cancer. In 2010, an estimated 261,100 new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed among women in the U.S. Additionally, 1,970 U.S. men were diagnosed with breast cancer. In Georgia, it is estimated that more than 8,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 1,200 will die from the disease this year. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among U.S. women. In 2010, approximately 39,840 American women died from the disease. That is one breast cancer death EVERY 14 minutes. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for U.S. women between the ages of 20 and 59, and the leading cause of cancer death for women worldwide. All women are at risk for breast cancer. About 90 % of women who develop breast cancer have no family history of the disease.
