LESSON PLAN WRITING RETREAT

for the

 American Indian/Alaska Native Curriculum

History & Contemporary Lifestyles of the Northern Paiute, Southern Paiute, Washoe and Western Shoshone"

Who should attend? You if you are a Nevada Educator interested in learning about the history, culture, and current events of the Great Basin Indians and if you are interested in designing lesson plans to enhance the new American Indian Curriculum.

Dates & Times:

June 19: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

June 20: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

June 21: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Location: The University of Nevada, Reno Campus

Knowledge Center Building

Free In-service credit

Southern Utah Graduate Inservice Credit of $21.00, in addition to $25.00 registration fee.


Parking is NOT included in $25.00.

Parking available: $7.00 for the Brian J Whalen Garage; and $5 for The West Stadium Parking Complex.  Permit dispensers are located on the top level of both the West Stadium Complex and the Whalen complex for your convenience. These machines take cash, debit or credit cards.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is not included in the $25.00 registration fee. FAQs Regarding Southern Utah University Graduate Credit:


Sign up will take place on the first day of the class.

The credit is from the Southern Utah University (SUU).

You do have to request a transcript.  Transcipts won't be available until after July 27.

The credit is considered a Graduate In-Service Credit and has a 500 number.
