Create-a-thon Interest Tracks
In addition to panel discussion and the idea workshopping event, this year we have 2 tracks of the Create-a-thon to let attendees from different backgrounds and with different needs get the most out of the day:
One track will focus on the Basics of Filmmaking and Editing for new and aspiring filmmakers coming from a variety of backgrounds.
The other track will focus on Health Storytelling and considerations of Audience and Policy Impact for more experienced filmmakers.
Both tracks will be open to people of all backgrounds; by the end of the day, we want everyone to leave equipped with an idea and a path to make a film or other piece of media about health and healthcare.
Health Film Competition
Prizes for the film competition will include a number of film accessories, Practice Fusion VIP screenings, and cash prizes of $3000 for 1st Prize, $1000 for 2nd Prize, and $500 for 3rd Prize.
