The city of Los Angeles is one of the most visited and vacationed in the nation, and a city that has the entertainment capital as it's crown jewel!
Los Angeles is also a city that has many benefits to offer it's citizens, including mass diversity opportunities for advancement that continue to remain steady. There is an old saying among generational residents that continue to ring true: if you cannot make it in Los angeles, you will never make it in another city!! We who live in Los angeles County love Los Angeles!!
What we do not love is the fact that crime and violence contiues to take the lives of our youth at a record rate and that fear walks the streets 24 hours per day as it's residents. Many shake their heads daily at news and local media reports of some of the most horrific crimes ever committed, and the reports are increasinly scary!
How does one cope and attempt to live a safe and secure life among the reports? will I be next is everyone's fear and aniexty. On February 2nd, panelists and speakers from the community of law enforcement, faith based institutions, formerly of the military, the school system and others will convene to offer answerrs and solutions at the 2nd Annual Violence and Crime related Symposium.
