The Forum is free and open to the public.  Registration is required.  All school teachers, students in teacher education, school officials and civic leaders interested in education are encouraged to register and attend.

Georgette Yakman will present the keynote address disucssing an educational framework for K-12 classrooms based on STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.  Ms. Yakman holds a master's degree from Virginia Tech in Integrated Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics Education and is near completion of a terminal degree also from VA Tech.  Her work has been recognized by educational groups both nationally and internationally.
