Event Details

The 24EQ Conference presents Susan Stillman, Lauren Hyman Kaplan, and Stephanie Orr...

What can we teach to resolve bullying?

How emotional intelligence can be used to get "to the heart" of a solution?

In this free webinar, we will look at the critical role of social emotional learning (SEL) in bullying prevention. As opposed to many bullying prevention efforts that try to "fix" the problem of bullying,  social emotional learning gets at the heart of bullying prevention -- SEL teaches students and adults the emotional intelligence competencies that they need to be more self aware, to make good decisions, to develop empathy, to appreciate diverse perspectives, and to improve the quality of their relationships.

Participants will learn the importance of SEL focused, comprehensive bullying prevention programs that involve all school stakeholders including, administrators, teachers, students and parents.

The presenters will share their experiences with implementing SEL/Bullyinig Prevention programs in schools across the country.
