Description
Each year Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation hosts the Wisconsin Bleeding Disorders Conference for individuals and families living with a bleeding disorder. The weekend provides an opportunity to attend educational sessions presented by experts, meet with health care and industry professionals, and form important connections with peers affected in Wisconsin.
PROGRAMMING
The weekend begins on Friday evening at a welcome reception and continues Saturday with a full day of educational programming including: A special keynote by Patrick James Lynch of Stop the Bleeding, Community Round Table Discussions, Healthy Cooking, Yoga and Mindfulness, Advocacy, Q & A with a Hematologist, and a Spanish speaking track. Special sessions will be provided for youth, and child care will be available for kids six and under.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The conference will take place at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
REGISTRATION
A registration fee of $125 includes one hotel room (additional charge for guests beyond four) on Friday and Saturday nights, four waterpark passes, conference programming, child care, and meals on Saturday (you are on your own on Friday night). This special conference registration rate is for individuals and families living with a bleeding disorder and their immediate family who are residing in Wisconsin, or recieving care from a Wisconsin HTC.
The actual cost of the weekend is $750 per family of four, making this special rate contingent on attendance in sessions. If you need further assistance with the fee please contact GLHF before registering online.
