TO: 44th MOA RALLY REGISTRATION VOLUNTEERS
THANK YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING last year in Billings and previous years in St Paul, Salem, Sedalia, Bloomsburg.
See you at Das Rally in Hamburg NY for the 44th BMW MOA International Rally
This site is set up to allow you to volunteer to have fun with us at registration at the BMW MOA Rally in Hamburg NY in July 2016. Again this year we are using this EventBright ticketing website to help us sign up and organize registration volunteers. To do this each shift is described as a separate event and in order to sign up for a shift you need to get a free “ticket” for each shift that you want to work. You will receive an emailed “ticket” at the end of the process which will be your confirmation that you are signed up for a shift. You may sign up for more than one shift if you wish. Many folks do. You may cancel then apply for a different shift at any time before the event.
The registration job is responsible for greeting riders as they arrive at the rally, helping them through the registration process, taking money or credit cards for non-preregistered people and answering any questions they may have about the rally and the area. Don’t worry you will be thoroughly briefed before you start your shift. That is why we ask you to arrive at least 20 minutes before you are scheduled to start.
As you can see from the list of shifts we need people from Tuesday morning July 12th until Saturday afternoon July 17th even though the official rally start date is July 14 . Tuesday and Wednesday morning are primarily set-up, Wednesday afternoon is for volunteer registration and the remaining days/four hour shift on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are dedicated to regular registration.
You may contact one of the Registration Team members listed below if you need any help or if you have any questions about the volunteering for Registration. If you wish to also volunteer for other MOA rally duties, please go to the MOA website for general rally information or contact the overall Rally Volunteer chair person Paul Ruffell (email@example.com).
Without people like you who are willing to spend a few hours at registration, the MOA would not be able to put on this great rally. So come and join the fun, sign up today for one or more shifts. If your club wishes to work together, get an agreed-upon 1st choice shift/date and then ask club members to sign up individually asap on that date before the slots are filled by others.
We will not be able to respond via website messages after July 8 so we can get on the road to Hamburg.... after that date you can still volunteer when you arrive at the Rally... just contact one of the Registration Co-Chairs (wearing the bright orange or green vests). You can also signup at the general volunteer booth located in the MOA area.
