2015 10TV Commit To Be Fit High Street Mile

Welcome

The 10TV Commit To Be Fit in partnership with Healthy New Albany and Second Sole announce the 10TV Commit To Be Fit High Street Mile. No running distance or field event has the history, the appeal or the “magic” of the mile. This beautiful 12-block stretch from The Columbus Commons to the Greater Columbus Convention Center will be open to runners of all ages and abilities who want to run their fastest mile. The race will begin at 9:30 am Sunday, August 16th on High Street by the Columbus Commons in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Event Information

The 10TV Commit To Be Fit High Street Mile is a one-mile race. This event is accessible to all who want to compete to meet their personal best time. Race participants will gather at the The Columbus Commons near High Street, 160 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43215

8am arrival time is encouraged.

The first running waves will begin at 9:30 am and the final running waves will end at approximately 10:30 am.

Packet Pickup Information

Race packets must be picked up at 10TV Commit To Be Fit (C2BF) Expo on Saturday, August 15, 2015 between 10 am and 5 pm at The Greater Columbus Convention Center, Hall D, 400 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215. You can download unlimited FREE tickets for admission to the Expo for Packet Pickup using the link we will send after you register. Normal admission to the Expo is $7 per person, or FREE tickets will be available at area Subway restaurants after August 1, 2015. If picking up a packet for someone else, you will be required to show that person’s valid ID such as a valid driver’s license.

There is NO packet pickup on race day

Awards & Age Groups

An overall first place award for both men and women will include $1000 and a pair of Nike running shoes.

An overall second place award for both men and women include $500 and a pair of NIKE running shoes

An overall third place for both men and women include $250 and a pair of NIKE running shoes

All participants will receive a NIKE tech shirt prior to the race and can be picked up inside the Expo building. Goodie bags will be available after the race inside the Expo building and can be picked up by showing participants race bib.

>> Age groups : Youth girls and boys 6-14 // women and men 15-29 // women and men 30-34 // women and men 35-39 // women and men 40-49 // women and men 50-59 // women and men 60-69 (for the memorial mile), media/celebrities champion, Central Ohio running club champion, professional athlete champion, and kids.

Course Map

This unique one-mile course begins at The Columbus Commons, 160 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43215, and runs north towards the convention center.

The race will be run on all four lanes of High Street.

Parking

Located directly beneath Columbus Commons with an entrance off of Third Street and across Rich Street from the Commons, with entrances on Rich and Main Streets, the Columbus Commons parking garages offer convenient, affordable, and secure parking options. Alternatively, participants and their fans can park near the Convention Center where the race will end, and walk up High Street to the starting line near The Columbus Commons.
