Event Details

The Youth Worker Leadership Conference is an interactive and exciting event for high school students working with children that have special needs. On Sunday, March 30th, 2014, we will bring together approximately 275 high school-aged youth in the greater New York City area to honor and engage these young professionals. The Youth Worker Leadership Conference will include dynamic speakers, break-out sessions, and hands-on activities to provide inspiration, resources, and information on strategies and skills for working with children with special needs. The conference setting presents this information in a way that is meaningful and immediately relevant for youth workers.

The conference is completely free to attend, though advanced registration is requested and a chaperone must attend with students under 18. Lunch will be provided! The Youth Worker Leadership Conference is made possible through the generosity of the J.E. & Z.B. Butler Foundation and Ramapo for Children.
