The Wambaw Swamp Stomp is a 50 mile trail race along the Swamp Fox Passage leg of the Palmetto Trail and a section of the Jericho Horse Trail. You will run two 23.8 mile "loops" though the course is shaped more like the Flux Capacitor from Back to the Future. Each time around you will come back to the start/finish line. Starting out you will run up the trail for about 1.6 miles, turn around and head back down before starting the two loops. The event will also have a 14 hour cut off for solo 50 mile participants.
