Online Registration Is Now Closed!
If you have not already done so, you may register tomorrow from 9:30 am-6:30 pm at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Lincoln Street. Bibs, t-shirts and packets will be distributed there at the same time. Those who have preregistered will also collect their packets at the same place.
You can pick up your run packet either at Strictly Running on Tuesday, September 16, through Thursday, September 18, from 11 am-5 pm or on Friday, September 19, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center between 9 am and 6:45 pm.
The opening ceremony with Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Kyle Carpenter will begin at 6:30 pm.
The South Carolina Tunnel to Tower Run/Walk will hold an Event Celebration and Awards Ceremony starting at 7:30 pm on the Tin Roof grounds. This is going to be an incredible celebration of our first responder heroes, and we are excited to be able to offer this patriotic fellowship for our participants!

How Far is the Tunnel to Towers Run/Walk?
This is a 5k (3.1 miles). You are welcome to walk or run this event.
Can I get a timing chip?
Yes, if you preregister by 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 18.
Can I register the day of the run?
Yes, but you must use a credit card to pay the registration fee. There will also be an additional $5 charge for registration on race day. Please note that no timing chips will be given to those who register on the day of the run.
When does online registration close?
Online registration will close on Thursday, September 18 at 6:00 pm.
Is there transportation to and from the event?
No, we do not provide transportation to and from the event.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available nearby.
Where can I pick up my packet?

Are any hotels offering special rates for those who want to stay overnight?
Do I have to wear my bib number?
Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.
I am a fast runner. Can I get a front line position?
Runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minute/mile will be seeded in the front corral. A separate entrance (marked in yellow) will be at the front of the start line.
Will water be available?
Yes, a water station will be available along the route, and there will be water available at the finish.
What can you bring to the event?
Backpacks, diaper bags, etc. are allowed.
Can I run with a stroller, backpack, wheelchair, roller blades, bicycle, etc?
One can run with a stroller, backpack, or wheelchair. Roller blades or bicycles are NOT allowed.
If I have a backpack, what do I do with it?
Feel free to wear your backpack. It is the participant's responsibility to secure any/all items at their own risk.
Where do I reclaim my backpack after the run?
Can I get a refund? Can I transfer my registration?
Unfortunately, ALL SALES ARE FINAL and we do not allow refunds. However, you may transfer your registration to another participant.
