Share 2014 Suppers

Event Details

In its sixth year, Suppers features renowned chefs from the DC region, from across the country, and some from across the world, preparing extraordinary meals in homes throughout the city to help address the issues of homelessness and poverty in our nation’s capital. Chefs, working together in pairs, donate their time and skills to participate in these incomparable evenings while hosts graciously provide their houses for the evening. And guests get to watch and chat with the chefs as they prepare the meal. The highlight of Suppers is great food and wine, and stimulating conversation.

During the meal, dinner hosts and representatives from Martha’s Table and DC Central Kitchen lead discussions about nourishing our health, economy and environment. Almost all food and wine is donated. Wine is provided by some of the world’s leading vineyards and wineries. And volunteers graciously help serve the meal.

Suppers have proven to be a warm and hospitable evening filled with a loyal following. Each dinner is small with 16–20 seats available. If you would like to be invited to one of the Suppers, kindly go the Eventbrite website and indicate your interest in attending. Register early! In the past four years, all of the dinners have sold out.
