Due to the unconference format and our emphasis on networking, the event will close at 150 attendees. We expect this event to sell-out. Lock in your spot early!
The second annual Texas edition of the Student Affairs Technology Unconference (#satechTX) welcomes higher education professionals to connect and collaborate about technology in higher education Friday, May 30, 2014, at Concordia University in Austin, TX. The #satechTX unconference will focus on Women and Technology. The #satechTX unconference is open to professionals working in student affairs, enrollment management, academic advising, marketing, communications, and faculty.
The inaugural Student Affairs Technology Unconference brought more than 100 higher education professionals from 27 colleges and universities across Texas. The variety of titles held by attendees ranged from vice president to director to graduate student, which contributed to the rich discussions about social media, student retention, and new technologies related to higher education.
Unlike the traditional conference model that dictates far in advance the agenda, the unconference is a participant-driven, facilitated model. We provide the central theme and attendees actively choose session topics.
