Come to an Evening with the Stars at this year's South Florida Book Festival at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center. Delight your senses with light jazz . . . and refreshments and wine courtesy of Whole Foods Market. Mix and mingle with our featured authors, including best-selling authors Eric Jerome Dickey, Donna Hill and Pamela Samuels Young plus Dr. Carl Hart (a neuroscientist), Kembala Evans (a financial expert), and Geoffrey Philp (author and poet).
Also featured on Friday evening is celebrity chef and host of the Food Network’s “Cooking for Real” and “The Kitchen,” Sunny Anderson who will be autographing her book, Sunny’s Kitchen: Easy Food for Real Life.
For a $25 donation on Eventbrite, or $30 at the door in cash or card, guests will meet the authors in a social setting, enjoy some refreshments and wine, and receive one of the authors' available books and the opportunity to have it autographed.

The African-American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) is an award winning 60,000 square foot facility that includes a 300-seat auditorium, seminar and conference rooms, and exhibit areas. Upstairs is a youth services area, a special collections area and a neighborhood library with a computer lab.
