Event Details

Prisoners of Christ Ministry has been making a positive difference in Jacksonville since 1990.  Our proven program of faith-based re-entry and transition services helps men coming out of prison turn their lives around and become productive citizens, while reducing the rate of recidivism that takes such a huge toll on our economy...and on our crime rate.

Help us celebrate the successes God has brought to the more than 2,300 men whose lives have been changed forever, and to ask God to shape the hearts of the many others to come. Hear the moving testimony of men who have gone back to a productive life free of crime, and discovered a feeling of self-respect as they become contributing members of society.

We’re excited to share with you the new direction of our Ministry and the exciting programs we have to offer.  As always, the breakfast is free and guests are welcome. We also have sponsorships available starting at $500 for a table of 10.  Call us at 904.358.8886 to sign up today.

Sponsorships are available; click here for more information.

The breakfast is free and guests are welcome! Please RSVP to let us know you are coming.

When a man decides he’s ready to change and asks for help, a member of POC staff meets him at the Jacksonville bus station on the day of his release from prison. He’s brought to one of POC’s transition houses, where he’ll reside in a comfortable residential home, surrounded by other men who are eager to give him their support.

He resides there for up to 10 weeks, and it is the base of operation from which most re-entry services are provided, including clothing, food, personal hygiene items, transportation to and from required reporting and appointments, 12-step recovery meetings, counseling, providing for medical needs, finding a church home, assistance in securing meaningful employment, financial responsibility, independent living skills, and anything else necessary to get a man back on his feet.

A POC staff member resident leader resides in each transition house and provides guidance and direction for the men in their new outlook on life — a feeling of dignity and self-respect. And through it all, they continue to pray for him and with him, showing him the awesome power of faith and God’s lo
