Building on the overwhelming success of the 2013 Connect Michigan Broadband Conference, Connect Michigan is excited to host the 2014 Connect Michigan Broadband Conference. 

Broadband and technology are critical to positioning Michigan at the forefront of the digital economy. Connect Michigan, a non-profit organization tasked with facilitating the expansion of broadband access, adoption, and use throughout the state, will host a broadband and technology conference Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

The 2014 Michigan Broadband Conference will bring together community leaders from education, libraries, economic development, local government, healthcare, and technology sectors to share and learn cross-collaborative best practices for expanding broadband and technology access, adoption, and use and move Michigan to the forefront of the digital economy.

What can you expect at the Broadband Conference?

Nationally recognized broadband and technology experts will join local leaders to provide attendees with best practices and insights into leveraging technology for improved community and economic development, education, healthcare, and workforce development. Actionable information and case studies will be provided to empower participants to work with local stakeholders and broadband providers in their communities to expand technology access, adoption, and use.

Who is the Target Audience for the Broadband Conference?

The target audience for the conference includes community leaders from local government and regional entities, libraries, community and economic development professionals, school technology leaders, and state agencies and organizations, community anchor institutions, business community, and technology providers, among others.
