The CIMA Team
CHICAGO INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS is an annual event established for music artists in the Chicago and Midwest region by music industry insiders around the nation.
Our mission is to entertain and give recognition to the finest emerging artists in Chicago and surrounding States. We believe in the power of music and have a profound respect for those who create it.
As an independent organization, we DO NOT concentrate in the involvements of politicians neither care about their approval or endorsement; we simply believe that Music and Politics don't mix.
Our organization thrives on the little-known and the yet-to-be-discovered artists in Chicago and surrounding States by providing a platform to help establish a fan base and to build and grow the artists exposure by working exclusively with music industry insiders, independents record labels and music organizations.
Our goal is to promote and recognize new and established artists, bands, musicians, producers, composers, and songwriters, through performances, competitions, showcases, workshops, conferences, and an annual awards program.
