How has housing affordability in Rhode Island changed over the past decade and what is the implication for our state's economy? Join HousingWorks RI at Roger Williams University as we release our 10th annual Housing Fact Book.
About this year's event...
HousingWorks RI at Roger Williams University is excited to host you at the Housing Fact Book Luncheon and celebrate our 10th Anniversary. We are pleased to announce that gubernatorial candidates Mayor Allan Fung and General Treasurer Gina Raimondo will be joining us for individual conversations with Barbara Fields on solutions our next Governor could use to address housing affordability and the economy in Rhode Island.
We hope you will join us on October 3rd to get your first look at this year's Housing Fact Book, celebrate the past 10 years of HousingWorks RI, hear from two of our state's gubernatorial candidates, and look to the future of housing and the economy in Rhode Island.
Most recently, Fields was the HUD Regional Administrator for New England for the past three years. Prior to her appointment to that position, Fields served as the executive director of Rhode Island LISC (Local Initiatives Support Corporation). There she led the organization to expand its scope beyond housing and commercial developments into a more comprehensive approach to community development which included public safety, child care and workforce development.
