2014 Foxy's Fall Century
Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 7:00 AM (PDT)
Davis Bike Club extends this invitation to ride and enjoy our premier late-season event, Foxy’s Fall Century. Often stated to be the ideal first century ride, it offers challenges, distances, and scenery for riders of all levels. We offer three distance rides:
On the 100-mile course, well-marked routes guide you through the orchards of Solano County and the rolling hills of Napa County. Rest, water, and lunch stops along the routes will keep you riding through the day. The 100-mile ride offers the most challenging of the three courses with over 3000 feet of climbing (and descending). A delicious pasta dinner awaits you at the finish. There will be a limit on pre-registered riders to ensure an amply supported ride for everyone. Start Time: 7 AM
The 100km ride is a good ride for most recreational cyclists. This year the route will follow the century riders out to Pleasants Valley Road, turning right along the beautiful rolling hills to Putah Creek Road and into Winters for lunch at Rotary Park! The park serves as the lunch stop before the return to Davis. Start Time: 8 AM
The 50km ride – to introduce families to cycling. This flat route goes through orchards and farmlands to Winters for a relaxing break, with food and beverages at Rotary Park, before returning to Davis. On this course, Kids 12 years old and under ride free when accompanied by a registered adult! Start Time: 9 AM
Registration for Foxy's Fall Century is ONLINE only. No refunds of entry fees and transfers are acceptable up to Sunday, October 6. Preregistration is capped at 1500 riders. Please Note: There will be no day-of registration. Get more information about our wonderful event at the Learn More links below.

1. Please respect all private property and public roads.
2. Please, please, please ride single file when traffic is coming from behind.
(This has been a problem and it endangers everyone).
3. Always be mindful of traffic: cars, tractors, other bikes, pedestrians, etc.
4. Just like you drive defensibly, please bike defensibly. Safety is more important
than who might be in the right.
5. Take time to look around as you ride; we ride through some great country!
